Rinku Shrivastava, MD
Rinku Shrivastava is an American board-certified family physician, obesity and wound care specialist, and PRP-certified physician.
Dr. Shrivastava has extensive experience caring for patients of all ages and diverse medical needs, with special interests in diabetes management, geriatrics, asthma/COPD, obesity medicine, wound care, and regenerative medicine including PRP joint injections and PRP wound care. She is also skilled in office-based procedures such as ingrown toenail removal and joint injections.
A graduate of the University of California, San Francisco Fresno Residency Program in 2010, she served the Peninsula community before moving to the Castro Valley area, where she acquired the practice of Kenneth Rothman in 2015.
Before residency, she spent four years in medical research at Stanford University, VA Palo Alto Health Care System, and Alameda Health System, and presented diabetes research at the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine International Conference 2009.
Outside of work, Dr. Shrivastava enjoys cooking, singing, chess, and spending time outdoors with family.
